I think this one of my very few crack ships, I just love the idea of Wario thinking that Pink Gold Peach is perfect since she’s both a pretty lady and essentially money
Wario did have a crush on Peach back in the old comics so perhaps it’s not too out there haha

So a friend commented on my avatar and because it gives me another opportunity to tell this story… Well here it is.
So it’s June 10th, the first official day of Electronic Entertainment Expo, better known to most as E3. I’d gotten in a little too late on Monday to register for my badge (no thanks to a hellish shuttle ride) so I decided to get up early, grab my badge, then wait until the doors opened up at 12. Being cool dudes, my pals Jason and Gusto decide to head down with me, if for no other reason than to check out the line for the Smash Bros invitational tournament. Getting my badge was easy, so we were hanging out by the entrance to the west hall when we saw a marked off zone for Nintendo SUVs. We decided to hang around to see if anyone cool would show up.
Lo and behold, not minutes later Masahiro Sakurai gets out of a black SUV with the Nintendo logo on the side. Being pretty empty we walked up and politely asked if we could take a picture with Mr. Sakurai. One of his attendants, which I later found out to be Tim O’Leary, the man who would translate for him at the Smash Bros. Round Table (which I myself would attend due to nothing short of amazing luck), answered us. Mr. O’Leary was… leery (get it?) of allowing us to stop and take a photograph because, according to him, Mr. Sakurai was already several minutes late to a meeting. But if we could snap a picture without stopping it would be ok, he told us. So we did. And that’s why these look… Yeah.

So we were pretty hyped, I mean we’d already caught Sakurai and we wondered if anyone else would show. Oh, would they! The next SUV pulled up and the legend himself, Shigeru Miyamoto, stepped out. We asked ourselves if we should go up and I said something like “fortune favors the bold.” It might have just been “hell yeah” though. Either way, we walked up and I asked Mr. Miyamoto for a picture directly. The security around him kept telling me he was already late for a meeting and had no time to stop but Mr. Miyamoto stopped and stood beside me for a picture. I was freaking out. If I look like some dumb idiot it is literally because one of my biggest dreams had just come true. Gusto took the picture and I couldn’t have been happier.
Of course by this time the few people in the area with us saw exactly who it was I was with and all came swarming. My buddy Jason managed to get a photo as well before security said only one more picture could be taken so Gusto had to get in on a group shot.
So after the photo he was swept away by his security personnel and we just stood there, freaking out. I felt like one of those teenage girls who gets to somehow take a one on one pic with some teen pop idol. That’s basically who Shigeru Miyamoto is to me, an idol. So yeah, it was basically the most amazing way to start off the 2014 E3!
Oh, and as I mentioned earlier I did end up attending the Smash Bros. Round Table and that was awesome. After it was over Jason, Gusto, and Taun got to snap a proper pic with Sakurai who we again caught as he was leaving the convention center!
